Tolsta Primary School is classed as a non-catering school.\u00a0 School meals are provided by\u00a0Angela Mackay, the\u00a0School Cook and her catering team in the neighbouring school Sgoil a’ Bhac. Meals are transported to Tolsta on a daily basis by a Dining Room Supervisor.<\/p>\n
A four week menu cycle is in place with children having a range of choices over the course of the four weeks. Children are provided with the menu a week in advance to enable them to make their choices for the following week, and these choices are communicated to the team in Sgoil a Bhac on a daily basis.<\/p>\n
All Primary 1-3 pupils are entitled to Free School Meals. Parents of pupils in Primary 4-7 may also apply for Free School Meals. Application forms can be found in the Documents section of the website.<\/p>\n
Pupils who prefer to eat packed lunches also do so within the school canteen environment and the School Assistant and Dining Room Supervisor are on hand to ensure that everyone enjoys their lunch.<\/p>\n
