Parents who wish to apply for a clothing grant may download an application form which is in pdf format here.\u00a0 Alternatively, they may wish to\u00a0contact the school office, or the Education &amp; Children Services Department, Comhairle nan Eilean Siar directly, for a form.<\/p>\n<p>FREE SCHOOL MEALS<\/p>\n<p>Parents who wish to apply for free school meals may download an application form which is in pdf format here.\u00a0 Alternatively, they may wish to\u00a0contact the school office, or the Education &amp; Children Services Department, Comhairle nan Eilean Siar directly, for a form.<\/p>\n<p>A free meal constitutes the equivalent of a two course meal and this can include filled rolls, salads, various main course items, accompanied by vegetable, side salad and potatoes as the first course and a choice of cold\/hot dessert, yoghurt\/fresh fruit etc as a second course. A glass of milk or fruit juice is also sometimes available as part of the two course meal depending on the menu.<\/p>\n<p>Items such as bottled drinks, baking, etc do not form part of the \u2018free meal\u2019 content, so must be purchased separately.<\/p>\n<p>Children are entitled to a free lunch meal where they are:<\/p>\n<p>\u00a8\u00a0a pupil in P1-3<\/p>\n<p>\u00a8\u00a0children of families who receive Income Support;<\/p>\n<p>\u00a8\u00a0children of families who receive Income Based Job Seeker\u2019s Allowance;<\/p>\n<p>\u00a8\u00a0children of families who receive support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999;<\/p>\n<p>\u00a8\u00a0children who receive Income Support or Income Based Job Seeker\u2019s Allowance in their own right;<\/p>\n<p>\u00a8\u00a0children of families who receive Child Tax Credit but do not receive a Working Tax Credit and who have an annual income (as assessed by the Inland Revenue) of below \u00a313,480.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/es\/public\/Tolsta\/uploads\/sites\/201\/2017\/10\/FSM-and-CG-APPLICATION-FORM-2017-18.pdf\">FSM and CG APPLICATION FORM 2017-18<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>CLOTHING GRANT All parents in receipt of Family Credit or Income Support are eligible for a clothing grant to ensure that their children are able to make use of educational provision.
