Our Eco Committee are working towards achieving an Eco Schools Green Flag Award. They help us to learn about the Sustainable Development Goals and ensure we are doing our bit to look after our environment, now and in the future. This session (25-26), we were chosen as a winner of the Climate Hebrides Award thanks to our work during OH-COP Climate Action Week which saw pupils engage in eSgoil assemblies, and planning and carrying out a community litter pick where seven bags of litter were removed from out beautiful community. Leirsinn Gàidhlig / Gaelic Vision: Nì Clachan Beaga Tric, Càrn Mòr Uaireigin In Scots this translates as ‘Many a Mickle Maks a Muckle’ or literally ‘lots of little stones make a big pile eventually’. This vision helps us to remember that whilst we may be a small school, we can make a big difference by working together consistently.
