\"gmf\"<\/a>This year again we have had numerous students competing in the Glasgow Music Festival.\u00a0 All the students should be incredibly proud of their performances.\u00a0\u00a0A special mention\u00a0must go to two pupils:<\/p>\n

Lewis Graham S6\u00a0winner of the Ailie Cullen Memorial prize which is awarded to the performer who, in the opinion of the adjudicators,\u00a0gives the most outstanding performance of the festival.<\/p>\n

Anna Ghiro S1\u00a0winner of the Hugh S Roberton Memorial Trophy which is presented to the most outstanding performer, under 14 years of age, in Vocal and Instrumental classes.<\/p>\n

Lewis Graham S6\u00a0winner of Woodwind and Brass Concerto<\/p>\n

Lewis Graham S6\u00a0winner of the Woodwind and Brass Solos – Premier class<\/p>\n

Lewis Graham S6\u00a0and Andrew Vettraino S6\u00a0(clarinet\/bassoon)\u00a0winners\u00a0of the Instrumental\u00a0Duets class<\/p>\n

Alex Gajic S1\u00a0winner of\u00a0the Piano Solos C class<\/p>\n

Elliot Ferguson S1\u00a0winner of Woodwinds Solos B class with James A Ross S1\u00a0second and James R Ross S1\u00a0third<\/p>\n

Trad. Band second place in the Folk Group class<\/p>\n

Callum Robson second place in the Ragtime and Blues Piano Solo class<\/p>\n

Lewis Graham S6\u00a0second and Andrew McCroskie S6\u00a0third in the Modern Woodwind and Brass Solos<\/p>\n

Anna Ghiro S1\u00a0second and Jamie King S1\u00a0third in the Woodwind Solos A class<\/p>\n

String Orchestra\u00a0 third place\u00a0in the School String Orchestra class<\/p>\n

Senior Concert band third place in the School Concert Bands A class<\/p>\n

Tom Simmonds S2\u00a0third place in the Violin C class<\/p>\n

Campbell Lang S4\u00a0third place in the Woodwind and Brass Sonata class<\/p>\n
