Well done to the S1 pupils who recently participated in the Maths Fair. Pupils worked in groups to participate in the following activities:
‘Smarties Challenge’ – pupils used their statistics skills to analyse and graphically represent data.
‘Shape Changing’ – pupils explored 3D shapes, areas and volumes.
‘How Far will it Fly’ – pupils used statistics to investigate the flight of paper aeroplanes.

Particular congratulations go to Zoe Coyne, Megan Cameron, Amy Pavri and Cailin Murray who produced an excellent poster displaying their results from the ‘Smarties Challenge’ and also to Emily Bass, Rae Taylor, Max Macdonald and Amy Anna Graham for their equally impressive poster from ‘How Far Will it Fly’.
