Advanced Higher RMPS provides students with the opportunity of a more in-depth study of topics they have covered in Higher. It will also introduce students to a more independent style of study, similar to that of first year university level.<\/p>\n
Advanced Higher RMPS is offered mainly as an option for S6 pupils who have studied RMPS at Higher level in S5, although not exclusively.<\/p>\n
\u00a0As part of the Advanced Higher course students will cover two main topics:<\/p>\n
Philosophy of Religion <\/strong>where students will explore three traditional arguments for the existence of God and study many key thinkers in the fields of Theology and\u00a0Philosophy.<\/p>\n Medical Ethics <\/strong>where students will look into the areas of abortion, euthanasia and organ transplants.
