Pupils studying physics in S3 continue to follow a broad general education (BGE) and build on the experiences gained from the Curriculum for Excellence experiences and outcomes in S1 and S2 science.
The units of work covered in S3 are:
- Waves
- Radiation
- Dynamics
Towards the end of S3, pupils will sit an exam which covers work completed throughout the year.
Audacity
S3 pupils may require access to files to use with the Audacity software as part of their studies in the sound topic.
