I am very lucky to work in such a large school with so many talented young sports men and women.

Below are our sports achievers for 2016-17. Well done to all of them for winning a medal or achieving a personal goal.

Primary Two

Taylor – Won a golfing family competition over in Spain. Well done.

Primary Five

Isla – Completed the Great Scottish Run, well done.

Primary Six

Ryan – Cycled 46 miles in under four hours from Glasgow to Edinburgh to help raise money for charity.

Primary Seven

Finlay – Completed the 2.5k Great Scottish Run. Finlay completed this in 10mins 27 seconds resulting in finishing 10th in a field of over 2000 runners. Well done.

Conor – Congratulations to Conor for being awarded a gold medal for participating in the 16 + sports and activities Rio challenge.

National Achievements

Rayyan- Congratulations to Rayyan for representing Scotland at the International Primary Schools competition in Guernsey at Table Tennis. His team came second, fantastic achievement.
