On Wednesday 23^rd March, Carolside participated in the cluster netball competition at Williamwood High School, organised by Mr Quinn, our Active Schools Coordinator. The P7 netballers rose to the occasion, displaying excellent team work, passing and defending. They were able to take advantage of the extra space in the gym hall at Williamwood, despite it being a little daunting to begin with! Our P7s displayed great sporting attitudes throughout and were very proud of coming second in the tournament. The P7 teachers have really enjoyed running the netball club and are looking forward to more success next term.

On Tuesday 15^th March, Carolside and Netherlee enjoyed the first P7 netball competition of the year. Carolside welcomed Netherlee’s P7 netball team, along with Mrs Miller. The standard of play was very high, with lots of great passing, super team work and a high number of goals! The P7s really enjoyed their first cluster competition and the staff were very impressed with the sporting attitudes displayed by the children. We look forward to seeing the same high standard of play at the cluster competition at Williamwood.
