“I went to Donegal and had pizza?”
“I like mozzarella!”
“I rolled it out”
“I’m giving thumbs up”
“Do you know how many I got to eat?” “Three!”
“I had five mmmmmm so yummy”
“We built a rocket for Humpty Dumpty”“Humpty Dumpty went to the moon,
Humpty Dumpty ate a spoon!”
Our Rhyme of the week is Humpty Dumpty!
Maybe you could create another verse for it?
I wonder how many we could create?
We are celebrating Book Week Scotland. We’ve been sharing and exploring lots of different stories. We read ‘Shhh!’ by Sally Grindley and made a castle just like the giant’s in our block play area. We added details like a drawbridge and towers.
‘I made a tower.’
‘I put lots of stuff all around it for protection.’
‘A giant lives there.’
We also looked a nursery rhymes book and put Humpty Dumpty on his wall. He fell down!
‘I was trying to get him to sit up so we could knock him down.’
