On Roald Dahl on Friday 16th September we had lots of lovely thingamabobs going on like having snozzcumbers, snozzcumber sandwiches and snozzberries for snack.
We also had Bookbug come and visit us.
We had ‘Twinkle Twinkle Chocolate Bar’ as one of our rhymes (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory), and Bookbug brought a few friends with him (Twinkle Twinkle Little Star puppet, Incy Wincy Spider puppet and Fish from one, two, three, four, five – all of which the children choose themselves.)
We then made George’s Marvellous Medicine with the Lycra and made our own potion to make us happy.
Our book was Roald Dahl The Enormous Crocodile and Open Very Carefully a Book with a Bite!
We listened to ‘Pure Imagination’ from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory to relax and we did some relaxing breathing exercises to finish.
In nursery we were making flapjacks for snack to share with our friends.
We went out into the garden to pick apples for our flapjacks in the morning. In the afternoon we went to the shops to buy more oats for the flapjacks.
We weighed and measured out the ingredients we needed to make them. We also had to chop up the apples to put in our flapjacks .
We mixed it altogether and put it into a tray to bake in the oven.
Then came the good bit…….. We had all the flapjacks for snack! They were delicious! Well Done Everyone!
