~Rhyme of the Week~

incy wincy spiderOur rhyme of the week is Incy Wincy Spider

Incy wincy spider climbed up the water spout.
Down came the rain and washed the spider out.
Out came the sunshine and dried up all the rain.
So incy wincy spider climbed up the spout again.

Did you know there is a second verse?
Home: If you don’t know this one you could practice it at home.
Incy wincy spider climbed up the tree.
Down came the snow and made poor incy freeze.
Out came the sunshine and melted all the snow.
So incy wincy spider had another go.

Alice in Wonderland

“I’m late, I’m laalice-in-wonderlandte for a very important date!”

We have changed our focus for learning from Dr Seuss to Alice in Wonderland.
Today we are making tablecloths for our Mad Hatter’s Tea Party which will be happening in weeks to come.
Home: If you have the film Alice in Wonderland at home or the story book why not read/watch it. Or have a tea party with a snack maybe inviting teddy bears too.

Dentist

images[2]The Dentist is visiting the Nursery today for the Ante Pre-schoolers.

Home: Why not try talking about the dentist and why we go there. Try counting the children’s teeth when brushing them. Or singing some toothbrushing songs to make toothbrushing fun!
