If your child is unable to attend school it is your responsibility to inform the school.
Parents/Carers will…
- Phone or email the school before 8:45am each day explaining the reason for absence.
- Pupils must be signed out of school by a responsible adult, therefore if your child returns home during the school day without you being notified by us, please phone us immediately.
- Following any absence your child should return to school with a letter confirming the reason for the absence.
The school will…
We are responsible for the safety of your child during the school day. If a child is absent from school with no contact from parent/carer we will:
- Text the main contact by morning interval to advise your child is absent without a reason.
- Send a text alert to you if your child is marked absent during period 5 (after lunch) but has previously been marked present that day.
