On Monday, we went over to St Cadoc’s Woods to complete our muddy movers. We practised our balancing skills by walking along logs and we also walked through the water. We had to be careful where we placed our feet in the water as there were lots of rocks. We hope we can visit again next week.
On Tuesday, we went to the Tesco football festival. We played lots of games of football and some warm up games. We had a fantastic time and were able to show off our football skills that we had learned during our 6 week course with Alistair and Tommy.
Wednesday was Human Rights Day. Our focus on was on Gandhi. We learned that he fought for his country to become independent. He was also put into prison several times for organising protests. In India, his birthday is celebrated as a national holiday. We made posters to tell people about Gandhi.
‘Where there is love, there is life’ – Gandhi
Well done primary 2B on a good week of sporting activity.
We all loved playing football and tried our best to score lots of goals. We enjoyed our muddy movers too, we were able to balance on a log over water. – Fergus and Macie 🙂
