What a braw week we’ve had! We have been celebrating Scots language week. We listened to the story of The Grufalo in Scots. Then we wrote an acrostic poem in pairs. We used lots of Scots language in our poems. Here is an example of one of our poems:
Gruffalo has a poisonous plook on his neb.
Run fae the horrible beastie.
Up in the tree, the feart hoolet hid.
Full o clooks on his taes.
Feart tod runs intae his hame.
Aahhhhh yelped the feart animals.
Little broon moose went intae the widds.
We hope you have a bonnie weekend!
