This week, we started our new topic called Fantastic Mr Fox. We looked at the colourful cover and discussed Roald Dahl and Quentin Blake. There were different covers on some of our books. We read a few chapters together and wrote about the diffent characters. We drew the three farmers and labelled their characteristics. The children in the story sang a rhyme which we have really enjoyed copying.

Boggis and Bunce and Bean

One fat ,one short, one lean.

These horrible crooks

So different in looks

Were none the less equally mean.
