Today’s tip – Access self help

Child and adolescent mental health service (CAMHS) have collated 50 different PDF self-help guides that different organisations have produced aimed at children, young people and parents.  They cover a wide range of topics such as issues with self-esteem, mindfulness, coping with self-harm, building resilience,  how to manage and reduce stress, controlling anger, positive parenting, keeping your cool – and lots more.

Today’s tip – gratitude journal

 

A gratitude journal is a diary/note of things that you are grateful for. Gratitude journals are helpful to focus your attention on positive things going on in your life, this is especially important during difficult periods. Over the next week each day gratitude journal ideas will be posted here.

Today – find an old notebook/jotter/scrap paper and simply think of three things you are grateful for and write them down on the first page.
