This month the children have been continuing their Outdoor Learning lessons in the forest and classroom. We collected lots of special ingredients during our forest walk to create a wicked witch’s Halloween potion!
We have been practising our skills in coding and using ICT too. We created super PowerPoints about our Australia topic. In P.E, we have taken part in French Cricket and been learning how to effectively dribble the ball in Hockey. Together we have talked about the importance of healthy eating and how a healthy diet contributes to our mental well being too! We identified and sorted different food groups. In drama, P4B have been working in groups and developing performance skills through participating in lots of different roles. Last week, we performed a spooky freeze frame haunted house drama!
We have been learning how to solve simple algebraic equations and expressions, how to partition numbers and we are confident using greater than, less than and equals too! It’s super that we are feeling confident in using our mathematical language and continue to work on developing our problem solving skills and applying new mental strategies. We look forward to the month of November and can’t wait to continue our hard work!
