An Ocean Adventure!

Primary 3a have been learning about all things Oceans and Continents!

We know that there are 7 continents and have been researching some of the life that exists in each of these places. We especially loved learning about the animals that live in each climate and how they have evolved to survive there. We created fact files, explored an Atlas and used technology to find out about the creatures that live in each continent. We put our artistic skills to the test to create beautiful and unique drawings of small sea turtles and sea horses! Learning about pirates from the past and different ships was so interesting!

Recently, we created fantastic eye-catching posters to raise awareness of plastic pollution in our own school and thought of different ways to reduce our plastic usage, like using metal/paper straws and also recycling our shopping bags! We had lots of fabulous ideas to share and put into action.

We even have an upcoming visit from an author this week to further learn about the impact of conservation. We are VERY excited about this and are preparing some questions for her!

See you shortly!

P3a.
