Primary 5b have been very busy during December. We have been learning all the symbols of Advent and linking these to our comprehension work. We particulary enjoyed making our Advent wreaths during outdoor learning. It was great to see that lots of other classes loved our idea of making a wreath and decided to have a go themselves. We also had a secret friend in our class which we had to be extra kind and caring towards. We are so proud of ourselves as we managed to raise \u00a364 for our charity. Wow!!!<\/p>\n
In numeracy and mathematics, we have been working on handling data. We have recorded data using tally marks and we are now more confident at reading bar graphs and charts. Mrs Bovaird said that we should all continue to work on division with remainders. As always, check for the key words\u00a0 to solve more difficult word problems.<\/p>\n
Our mini topic on ‘Christmas around the World’ has been really interesting and we have completed lots of different activities. We hope you enjoyed our performance on Google Classroom.<\/p>\n
