This week we entered not one but two competitions – the first focused on designing a Christmas card (even though we are in October), and the second was about Road Safety (which we completed as part of our writing this week, learning about what goes into a persuasive poster).<\/p>\n
As the leaves start to change colour, we looked at why leaves are green in the first place – a pigment called Chlorophyll – and how the lack of this pigment makes the leaves turn yellow and red.<\/p>\n
We used Just Dance videos to work on our fitness inside due to the inclement weather. Splitting into four different groups we played a series of drama games to explore our word, creativity, acting and attention skills.<\/p>\n
We look forward to the October break, a chance to recharge, have fun and consolidate our learning.<\/p>\n
