2020 Week 2

Our second week was slightly more normal than our return last week due to the weather calming down.

In line with a new school initiative we have increased our mindfulness periods, trying out new and exciting ways to become relaxed and focused.

In numeracy we continued honing our multiplication skills and began a measurement topic, looking at using cm and mm. In our writing this week we created, completely from scratch, imaginative stories for a cold piece. We became so invested in these stories some of us even continued them on paper after our time was up.

This week saw us go to Mars during an experimental bout of drama while we paired our RE lesson on St. Mungo (Glasgow’s patron saint) with our art and we dabbled with creating our own Glaswegian city crests integrating the symbols from St. Mungo’s miracles.

In PE we continued with racket skills by introducing tennis into our list of sports we’ve learned about.

Already looking forward to next week.
