2020 Week 1

Well what a week that was! From torrential rain to glorious sunshine, our first week back was Scotland in a nutshell to say the least.

This week we looked at studied the Feast of the Epiphany while also writing a prayer for our year ahead and the new decade before us.

We trained our musical ears by trying to identify different musical instruments in pieces of music. In Science we learned about what had been happening in the scientific community recently including activists sailing across the Atlantic, electric eels powering Christmas trees and a ban on bottom trawling in America.

Russian artist Wassily Kandinsky was the focus of our art this week and we created pictures of colourful circles in his style, looking at blending and mixing different colours.

The first week is in the books and we are all looking forward to our new term.
