Week 10

This week started with a bang with a new pupil joining our class family. We worked really hard to integrate him into all of our activities both inside and outside the classroom.

In numeracy we looked at converting grams and kilograms, fractions and practiced our bus stop division. We also used the Chromebooks to play interactive maths games and work on challenging ourselves in numeracy.

With Bonfire Night on Tuesday we looked at the history of Guy Fawkes in comprehension, how to make a fireworks safety leaflet in writing and how to draw and exploding firework in art.

We also used our computer skills to research different saints for All Saints Day and learned why we got an extra hour in bed with Daylight Savings. With the bright but cold sun in the sky we looked to improve our dribbling skills in football, using cones to further challenge our agility.

With ice covering windscreens and our breath billowing out in front of us as we breath, the countdown to Christmas, has well and truly started.
