This week we looked at a particular artist for art – Romero Britto. Next week we are going to create a piece of work in his style using bright colours, different patterns and a special word that invokes the spirit of Romero’s work.

Continuing with creating things, we combined food and animals to create foodimals for our story writing next week based on the popular and funny film Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2.

This week we also had an assembly in which we learned how to be responsible digital citizens – keeping ourselves safe online.

For health and well being we started to focus on the different food groups, this week looking at fruit and vegetables and carbohydrates. Next week we will complete our study of the food pyramid and what we need to have a balanced and healthy diet.

Finally, we started our topic for this term with a brief overview of what we know already and what we want to know about…”The Scottish Wars of Independence”.

With the routine of school all but set in, we look forward to focusing on our studies, reflecting on our work and enjoying school life.
