2020 Week 3

This week we celebrated St. Cadoc, the saint of our school, during RE, learning about his life and his encounter with various animals and people. On Friday we celebrated mass in his honour, setting a great example of how we should act at mass, for the younger pupils.

In Art this week we learned how to draw faces using simple but effective steps to accurately draw the shape of the head, the eyes, ears, nose etc. Next week we are going to take what we have learned and apply it to drawing self portraits from pictures of ourselves.

In Health and Wellbeing we focused our attention on each other, creating Name Posters within which the other pupils in our groups wrote strengths of ours. This was a great way to see what makes us shine, through finding out what other people think of us.

In our Connect and Reflect lessons we are beginning to really delve deep into what skills we demonstrate on a weekly basis, but also thinking about what skills we can afford to improve, how we can do that and why it is important we do so.
