Coming back from an extended break means getting back into a routine, but this week we enjoyed lots of new and fun activities that helped the week go smoother.
We learned about the famous and quite popular Scottish artist Steven Brown and had a go at drawing our own version of his McCoos. We completed (albeit somewhat unsuccessfully) a science experiment about oxygen and carbon dioxide. We also trained our listening skills and embraced the coming Autumn by writing poems about the season.
On Wednesday we created 3D shapes out of colourful straws using blue tack and sellotape. We continued to revise our knowledge of their faces, vertices (corners) and edges so we can accurately describe and identify the different shapes.
