Welcome back to the P5c blog!

On Thursday this week it was World Book Day! Greta Thunberg, Matilda, Miss Petula, Horrid Henry, Princess Jasmine, Marie Curie, lots of people from Harry Potter, some of the Sufragettes and some others joined our class! (Not really, but the costumes were that good we almost believed they were real!!)

To celebrate World Book Day we watched an Author’s Live with Jaqueline Wilson and she told us lots about her inspiration behind books, it was very interesting. We’re all inspired to create fantastic stories during writing!

We’ve read more of The Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe. Edmund has just betrayed his siblings… We’ve left it on quite the cliffhanger!! We can’t wait to read more next week and find out what happens!!

In writing we learned about report writing and all chose our own topics to write about which we researched on the Chromebooks. Miss Harvey can’t wait to see us writing for the Glasgow Herald one day!!

We’re loving our topic: China! This week we learned about the Great Wall of China. We all want to go on a trip and toboggan down it!
