This week in p5c we practiced the Gay Gordons (it’s a ceilidh dance). We also read chapter 3 of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe and then we predicted what would happen next in chapter 4. We did maths with Miss Harvey and Mrs Reid, it was very fun. With Miss Harvey we also learned about different types of energy like heat and chemical energy. We met a new teacher who did Scratch with us (a coding website).

In art we remade the scream by Edvard Munch. We’ve almost finished our backgrounds and then we’re going to take pictures of ourselves pulling a ‘scream’ face and stick this on our background, we can’t wait to finish them and see how they look!

On Tuesday some pupils took part in the UK’s biggest Chess Competition and will be featured in a newspaper! A few of our classmates made it into the final and they all received medals. Well done!
