P5a have been learning about energy.We are learning about eight different energies.Chemical energy is energy that people can eat and it could be stored\ud83c\udf54. Light \u00a0energy can be stored until used then \u00a0is transferred \u00a0through circuits to turn a light on\ud83c\udf1f. Sound \u00a0energy can be made by instruments. if something is noisy it is producing sound energy\ud83c\udfb6.kenetic energy is when something is moving the more fast it goes the more kinetic energy it has\u00a0\u2708.Electricity is produced from sockets…and we use it every day\u00a0\u26a1. Thermal energy (heat energy) can be sometimes produced by light energy eg fire , candle and light bulbs\ud83d\udd25. Gravitational energy gravity keeps us down so if an apple was to fall gravity would pull it down without gravity we would float\ud83c\udfb3.Elastic energy is produced in the elastic which saves up energy and a bed has springs that goes up\ud83c\udff9.<\/p>\n

Science Is Fun<\/p>\n
Mrs Sullivan came to visit our class and a circuit experiment we had 3 circuit and then we connected it to a battery. Then we connected it to a light bulb and it glowed.<\/p>\n
There were cards and someone held one and you would say what it was and what energy it was.<\/p>\n
There was a carousel candle and it was spinning because the heat generated reflections that interacted with the metal . So it produced a draft which made wind that intensified.<\/p>\n
