This is a national campaign co-ordinated by Skills Development Scotland (SDS) and delivered in partnership with schools, employers and the wider community.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s theme is \u201cShape the Future\u201d celebrating the vast range of industries, career paths and support services across Scotland.<\/p>\n<h3>Support for parents\/carers<\/h3>\n<p>Throughout the week there will be a number of webinars, information sessions and resources aimed at helping you support your child with career choices, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A free online session: \u201cSupporting Careers Conversations at Home\u201d \u00a0You will learn about SDS services, explore research on young people\u2019s aspirations and get practical resources for conversations at home.<\/li>\n<li>Access to national events via the campaign hub on the My World of Work website. Covering topics such as apprenticeships, training options, sector pathways and how your child can access support.<\/li>\n<li>Resources and toolkits designed for families which you can use at home (e.g., exploring strengths, interests and career possibilities together).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>How you can get involved<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Visit the campaign hub: <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.myworldofwork.co.uk\/scottish-careers-week?utm_source=chatgpt.com\">co.uk\/Scottish-careers-week<\/a><\/strong> \u00a0This website highlights event listings, sign-up links and downloadable resources.<\/li>\n<li>Join one or more of the online sessions during the week.\u00a0 The sessions are free and you are welcome to attend at times that fit your schedule<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ongoing support<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Skills Development Scotland career advisors are based within St Ninian\u2019s High School and provide ongoing support to pupils throughout the academic year.
