While your focus is currently on getting the best grades, many of you will be casting an eye to your career path. I\u2019m contacting on behalf of Bell & Bain Ltd, a book and journal printer in the Southside of Glasgow, seeking conscientious and ambitious individuals of all genders to join our workforce, to join an award-winning, historic company which encourages personal and professional growth, with opportunities of progression and promotion available to those who apply themselves.<\/p>\n

AIM<\/strong>
\nI am reaching out to you as a recent university graduate who is an advocate of young people joining Small or Medium-sized Enterprises. There is a world of career opportunities in SME\u2019s, many of which do not receive the same advertising or publicity as College or University as an option for (ex) pupils.<\/p>\n

I am heading a recruitment push for young people in the Glasgow area. Clearly this is a period of great professional uncertainty for many young people, and these temporary changes to academic structures will be compounding this. We are hoping to alleviate this uncertainty for a few successful candidates.<\/p>\n

OPPORTUNITY<\/strong>
\nWe are offering varying opportunities to a handful of young people: from factory work, to costing and estimating \u2013 to generally working up in the printing industry. Education is hugely important across the board, but for many, further and higher education is not always the answer. Many feel unsure as to what decision to make – right until the end of their school tenure – with the current COVID situation obviously adding to this. We can provide you a path.<\/p>\n

As a company we continually invest in the youth of today. This is evidenced by a workforce full of young people, apprentices (both current and qualified), and a management team which includes young individuals.<\/p>\n

\nAs a company, we have been growing exponentially over recent years, so it is a genuinely exciting time to be getting involved. In existence since 1831, we are among Scotland\u2019s oldest companies, and are one of the top independent printers in the UK. Even through the last year of pandemic and lockdowns, business has remained almost identical to our record-breaking 2019 year \u2013 we are happy to offer jobs that bring stability, variety and opportunity.<\/p>\n
