Warehouse Warrior Volunteer <\/span><\/p>\n

Location: <\/span><\/p>\n

If you like to stay in shape and help save the planet, volunteering in one of our local furniture store warehouses could be the answer you\u2019re looking for.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

We need helpful people to keep our stock moving from the vans to the warehouse and shop floor, and from the shop floor back to the van for delivery when items are sold. <\/span><\/p>\n

This role can be physical but it\u2019s not just moving furniture around. There are other opportunities to help our warehouse team such as warehouse logistics, booking stock in, putting together our flat packed furniture, and testing electrical items.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

Funding for researchers begins at your local charity shop. Last year our British Heart Foundation UK charity shops across the UK raised an incredible \u00a328 million \u2013 this wouldn\u2019t have been possible without our fantastic volunteers.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

Our team is bright and bubbly, and we love meeting people from all walks of life. <\/span><\/p>\n

Typical tasks include: <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 Ensuring the warehouse is always kept clean, tidy, safe and organised <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 Safely lifting and carrying a range of furniture items, big or small \u2013 it all helps! <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 Dealing with deliveries to the shop and preparing deliveries for customers <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 Helping to identify poor quality donations for recycling <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 Sorting and processing donated goods from our van collections\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 Replenishing sold furniture on the shop floor <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 Acting as an ambassador for British Heart Foundation always <\/span><\/p>\n
