Telephone & Admin Volunteer <\/span><\/p>\n

Location:\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

Are you calm, collected and happy to chat on the phone? Are you looking for admin or customer service experience? You will be the first point of contact for customers who call our store, helping them with any enquiries, arranging collections for donations and explaining our Gift Aid scheme. You will also be using our online collections request system to process online collection booking requests. <\/span><\/p>\n

Funding for researchers begins at your local charity shop. Last year our British Heart Foundation UK charity shops across the UK raised an incredible \u00a328 million \u2013 this wouldn\u2019t have been possible without our fantastic volunteers.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

Our team is bright and bubbly, and we love meeting people from all walks of life. <\/span><\/p>\n

Typical tasks include: <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 Dealing with members of the public with confidence, supported by the shop team <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 Answering incoming phone calls, checking answer phone messages, reception duties <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 Being organised and able to follow administration procedures accurately <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 Providing good customer service and assisting the shop team and Manager <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 Acting as an ambassador for the British Heart Foundation always <\/span><\/p>\n

You get a lot from volunteering too: <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 A chance to work in a friendly team, to make new friends and meet a diverse group of people <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 The opportunity to make an invaluable contribution to the British Heart Foundation goal of beating heartbreak forever <\/span><\/p>\n
