Sales Floor Volunteer <\/span><\/p>\n

Location: <\/span><\/p>\n

Our sales floor volunteers are the first point of contact for customers when they enter our shops. You will be greeting customers, helping them find the items they\u2019re looking for and answering their questions where you can. You will provide invaluable help through keeping the shop floor well stocked and attractively displayed.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

Funding for researchers begins at your local charity shop. Last year our British Heart Foundation UK charity shops across the UK raised an incredible \u00a328 million \u2013 this wouldn\u2019t have been possible without our fantastic volunteers.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

Our team is bright and bubbly, and we love meeting people from all walks of life. <\/span><\/p>\n

Typical tasks include: <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 Serving customers & providing good all-round customer service <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 Promoting our campaigns and any instore sales to customers\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 Working on window and shop displays <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 Keeping the shop tidy, clean and well organised <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 Helping your fellow volunteers and staff on the till or moving stock <\/span><\/p>\n

You get a lot from volunteering too: <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 A chance to work in a friendly team, to make new friends and meet a diverse group of people <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 The opportunity to make an invaluable contribution to British Heart Foundation goal of beating heartbreak forever <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 The time to develop your confidence and interpersonal skills <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 The ability to gain valuable work experience to add onto your CV and to learn new skills <\/span><\/p>\n

Please note – we are unable to accept volunteers aged under 16 and we cannot accept volunteers with unspent criminal convictions or who are subject to criminal registers\/orders <\/span><\/p>\n
