Do you know your way around online selling and buying sites? Have you got an interest in unusual or sought-after collectables? Then join our volunteering team – come and be amazed at some of the items that are donated to us and strike gold with those rare unusual finds! <\/span><\/p>\n

We\u2019ve got dedicated resources to help and assist you with this unique volunteering role. Research the interesting items; package them up and send them off to be sold at our online sales HQ. Every week we\u2019ll send updates about the most unusual and exciting finds we\u2019ve managed to sell though our stores – will your find be the next headliner? <\/span><\/p>\n

Funding for researchers begins at your local charity shop. Last year our British Heart Foundation UK charity shops across the UK raised an incredible \u00a328 million \u2013 this wouldn\u2019t have been possible without our fantastic volunteers.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

Our team is bright and bubbly, and we love meeting people from all walks of life. <\/span><\/p>\n

Typical tasks include: <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 Photographing items for listing on online selling sites <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 Researching donated items, to gather as much information on unusual items before listing them online \u2013 investigative work required! <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 Getting involved in uploading as much practical information about goods for sale <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 Packing and posting items to be sent to our online sales HQ <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 Helping the Manager to handle online queries from customers <\/span><\/p>\n

You get a lot from volunteering too: <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 A chance to work in a friendly team, to make new friends and meet a diverse group of people <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 The opportunity to make an invaluable contribution to British Heart Foundation goal of beating heartbreak forever <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 The time to develop your confidence and interpersonal skills <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 The ability to gain valuable work experience to add onto your CV and to learn new skills <\/span><\/p>\n
