We are seeking talented and detail-orientated individuals who will make a difference to the lives of the residents we care for at Whitecraigs Care Home. (2 part-time vacancies \u2013 25 and 30 hrs)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Your duties will include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collecting and sorting laundry, taking great care with residents personal laundry<\/li>\n<li>Washing all linen sent to the laundry in the correct manner washing delicate materials by hand and ensuring deep colours are washed separately<\/li>\n<li>Pressing laundry and repairing clothing as necessary<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring machines are correctly used, monitored and maintained, and any faults or damage reported immediately<\/li>\n<li>Cleaning floors and generally maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the laundry area<\/li>\n<li>Be aware of COSHH requirements and have knowledge of all products used in the laundry, ensuring that COSHH risk assessments are adhered to<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The successful applicant will:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have experience in a similar role<\/li>\n<li>Be able to demonstrate good time management<\/li>\n<li>Have an understanding of COSHH and HACCP<\/li>\n<li>Communicate effectively and work well as part of a team<\/li>\n<li>Have a caring and friendly nature, ensuring residents dignity and privacy are respected<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all information of a confidential nature gained is not divulged to third parties<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>In return we will offer you:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A competitive rate of pay<\/li>\n<li>An informative induction and a supportive and friendly working environment<\/li>\n<li>Continuous training and improvement to help all employees deliver and maintain the level of care we strive for, as well as achieving your own goals within a care setting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are interested and would like to apply then please submit your CV to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:Annemarie.Porter@renaissance-care.co.uk\">Annemarie.Porter@renaissance-care.co.uk<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Are you a committed, passionate and friendly Laundry Assistant?
