‘Play is key to raising attainment’                                                                                                                                                                                                                        Scottish Government 

Classes throughout the school enjoyed playing and creating games and working together across stages during Global Schools Play Day. We even came together at breaktime to play board games. (see class blogs)

Children learn a great deal from playing and it is a very important part of learning. It helps use develop logic, social skills, problem solving strategies, effective communication and creativity amongst other things. It allows us to take what we have been learning in school, make sense of it and apply it to real life problems.
