Thank you to St Ninian’s for inviting us to join with some S1 pupils to meet Victoria Williamson on Thursday afternoon. She gave a great insight into how she decided to become an author and how she developed the main characters and plot of her recent book. We got a deeper insight into characterisation and the personality traits of one of the characters through participating in an active task and we even did a Science experiment. She gave helpful tips by expanding on how to develop a plot in our own imaginative writing. A most enjoyable hour which encouraged us to seek out her book when we next visit the library.
