Spelling list this week is the second spelling list (WB 9/9). Children should choose 6 words from the list to practice over the course of the week.

Numeracy homework has been assigned on Education City. All children have their log in details in their homework folders.

With one week to go before Primary 2 return to school, we would encourage you to take some time to label your children’s clothes, shoes, lunch boxes and school bags.

On Monday 24th June St Mark’s are having a french Day. You can come dressed in the colours of the french flag. Pupils will take part in activities all about France in class. Primary 2 have also invited Primary 1 to a French tuck shop. You may bring some money into school on Monday to buy something from the tuck shop. Many items will be on sale for 50p.

Please remember tomorrow is Sport’s Day. You are invited to come along to support your child. Please ensure you come dressed in your PE kit.

We are enjoying Health Week. We have already made fruit kebabs with the dinner ladies. They were so taste! We are looking forward to our dance class tomorrow morning and our Big Book Bug Camp this afternoon. Please  join us at 1:30pm today!

We have been practising our number stories. We have been racing each other to write all the number stories.

We have been learning about the amount of sugar in our drinks.

We are learning to choose healthy choices.

We learned how to safely make hot drinks, we enjoyed creating a cafe in the classroom and serving hot drinks :).
