What fantastic achievements!

In Science, we have been learning about sound and vibrations. We investigated how to change the pitch of a sound.

In Science, we have been learning that sounds is made by vibrations.  We learned that sound travels in all directions but louder sounds travel further because they use more energy and create bigger vibrations.

This week in Forest School, we have been learning to tie different knots!

It’s been an exciting week with our Fischy Music concert, National Numeracy Day, our whole-school photo and Outdoor Learning Day.  We finished it all off with a celebration for those who received their First Holy Communion earlier this month.  Well done to all those who received the Sacrament, you were amazing, and thank you to all those who didn’t make it for being so supportive and helping us practise.

It was National Numeracy Day and Outdoor Learning Day this Week so we took Maths outside. We played a few games to practise counting coins and calculating totals.

After learning how to build a fire in Forest Schools, we made some fairy fires to toast marshmallows on.  Some of us liked them crispier than others.
