Primary 7a 2024 – 2025

What an inspiring day of reading in P5a! We really learned a lot about each others’ reading tastes and lots of us discovered new books we want to explore. Remember, lots of these books can probably be found for free at the Barrhead Library!

This is what we created during outdoor learning. We did a challenge to see who could build the tallest structure. Also we had to put the heaviest blocks at the bottom. Then we put the lightest materials at the top. Finally Miss McAnally chose the winner. We all collaborated well!

What a brilliant start to P5! Excellent resilience and creativity on display! We’re so happy to have a new student join us too! Welcome Rimas!

This is our Affirmation art. It makes us think about what makes us special! First we took our photos and then teacher printed them out. Next we painted our background with colours and patterns that remind us of ourselves. Then we got strips of paper and wrote positive statements about ourselves on them. We feel proud!

We rose to Mr Wonka’s challenge and created some new invention be for his factory.  We love being creative and using our amazing imaginations!
