Ancient Egyptian Presentations – Part 3

The class have learned so much from the Ancient Egyptian presentations over the past week. Continued thanks to parents and carers for their support in this! Solo presentations are such great tool in building confidence and for the children to recognise their own progress!

(Apologies to anyone I forgot to photograph due to being too engrossed in your presentation!)

PE Games!

This week we been building strategy and the ability to think quickly into our team games. If we don’t win, we learn from it and try and apply what we have learned the next time. And we aim to do it all with a smile and words of encouragement for others! 😃

What a great start to our presentations on Ancient Egypt! It’s great to see the effort put into creating cue cards, speeches, models, illustrations and Google Slides!

First News – Numeracy and Maths Stories!

We used the First News newspapers to look at how many of the stories involved aspects of Numeracy and maths like measure, shape and money. There were so many! We learned lots of things like we can measure the height of something in metres or feet.
