Primary 7a 2024 – 2025

A huge well done to our very first Student of the Week – Tomi! She has shown excellent focus and listening skills and very mature approach to challenges. Her helpfulness in supporting others to get back into the swing of things has been invaluable. What a role model for others! 😊

What a lovely start to P7! In these initial weeks of we are learning new routines, strategies and working together to create a really positive classroom ethos! The ability to collaborate and learn from each other is a vital part of all of our learning journeys. ❤️

Miss Mac

As part of Laudato Si week, we took part in daily reflections and an outdoor meditation session. The children calmed their bodies and minds to fully engage with their natural environment and surroundings. We thanked God for our natural world and promised to take care of it as best we can!

We have been comparing our country of Scotland’s culture and lifestyle with Japan. We have learned many new and interesting things about weather, clothing, animals, transport and food. The children created a presentation on to share with the class on the subject which interested them the most throughout our IDL topic. Each one was unique and bursting with facts and appropriate images! Well done, everyone! 👏👏👏

The children have been learning about measure and capacity. They compared units of measure and used a variety of measuring jugs to measure specific quantities of water. They worked collaboratively to solve problems, well done!

The children have been working on their IDL presentations and presented effectively to the rest of the class this week. It was so good to hear and learn about a wide variety of topics including; clothing, food, transport, animals and weather. I certainly learned new and interesting facts and I was blown away with the high standard of final work produced. Well done everyone and Thank you 😊

Today the parents came and we learned about Earth day. 🌎 We made posters about plastic pollution.🐠
