The children had a wonderful day at the Burrell Collection today, learning all about Ancient China. Thank goodness it was a dry day and we also got to have fun in the park. A great day!  

Today we participated in the Big Lent Walk, we buddied up with Primary 1 to help motivate each other! We were singing and cheering as we walked in solidarity for our brothers and sisters in Rwanda.

We were counting in Japanese and doing punches in the air while we counted in tens. We have enjoyed learning about our topic and it was a great opportunity to take the learning outdoors! 🇯🇵

We were learning to tie shelter hitches and increasing range of complex knots, create a tipi shelter and make and tend to a fire safely. We all enjoyed being out in the forest 🌿🍃🌳

Today the children learned how to make and tend to a fire safely. I think the best part was definitely getting to toast their marshmallows! 👍

The children have had a great few weeks learning how to construct a tipi shelter and make a fire safely. They have fully embraced their collaboration skills, leadership opportunities and took risks. Well done P6! 👏

In P6, we have been developing our engineering mindsets through the kapla blocks and k’nex. We really enjoy having the opportunity to develop our meta skills such as collaboration, creativity and problem solving.

In P.E, we have been taking turns of being Sports Leaders. We design a warm up, game and cool down activity. This week we played, Dodgeball!
