For extended writing, We have been covering the genre of informative report writing. We have focussed on purpose and audience and the structural components required to write an informative report. The children used digital technology to research their local community of Barrhead and decided on 3 micro subjects (subheadings) they would like to include in an information leaflet – community groups, places of worship and leisure facilities / outdoor spaces.
