P3a were listening to some Halloween soundtracks and trying to visualise what was happening.  There was such amazing imagination and attention to detail.

In October we have been giving thanks to Mary and have set up a Marian Altar in class.  We made cards and gifts of flowers to say thank you for accepting her role as mother of Jesus.

We had a great end to Maths Week out in the sun, using our sense of position and map-reading skills on a treasure hunt.  We were great at finding the maths questions hidden around our playground!

We were challenged to find objects outdoors that we estimated would be about one metre long.  It was one of our favourite activities during Maths Week and we came up with lots of creative ideas. 

We have been learning to make mindmaps and used our skills to show how different people use maths in their workplace.

We started Maths week by using different number sequences to create music.  The creations were amazing!

We have been looking at Roman soldiers and showed great creativity creating our own Roman shields.  Afterwards, we had great fun pretending to be Roman soldiers and working together to get into the testudo formation.

P3a had a great afternoon out in the sun creating games and exploring nature!
