Primary 6a 23/24

Science Centre Trip

Today all of Primary 2 visited the Science Centre to learn more about our science topic ‘Forces’. We visited a workshop where we learned about the forces of push and pull through sorting different toys into their category. We also learned about the force of magnetism, we took part in an experiment and sorted different materials into ‘magnetic’ or ‘non-magnetic’. Everyone participated so well throughout the workshop and showed excellent listening and talking skills. Here are some pictures of us taking part in the workshop.

After the workshop we all had the chance to explore the Science Centre and play with the different materials within it. We had so much fun being able to experiment with the different materials within the Science Centre. We had a fantastic day, all pupils worked so hard as a team and showed amazing listening skills all throughout the day. Miss Cathcart took loads of pictures to show the different things that we were doing, have fun looking through all of our pictures 😀.
