St Mark’s Primary School

Talking and Listening Homework – Term 3

Topic: Personal Successes and Achievements

Our learners are successful and confident. They exercise responsibility and contribute to the life of the school and wider community as global citizens. Our pupils demonstrate a range of skills and abilities through a wide range of activities.

At school we are committed to recognising a broad range of achievements and do this in many different ways. To help us we ask that you discuss your children’s recent achievements (this school year) with them and inform us of any we may not already be aware of.

The following questions might be helpful during your discussion:

What makes you special and unique?

Which clubs to you go to at school? What skills do you use there?

Which clubs/activities do you do outside of school? What do you do there? Have you achieved any levels/badges/rewards/certificates?

What have you got better at recently?

How do you feel when you achieve success?

Which recent achievement are you most proud of?

Please come to school prepared to share with the class;

  • Any School/ Cluster Extra Curricular Club/ Activities.
  • Any Out-of-school Extra Curricular Club/ Activities
  • Achievement/ Awards
  • Something you are most proud of.
