Primary 7a 2024 – 2025

Today we undertook a science experiment when creating a Christmas ornament. We separated a mixture to view the different components of an ink pen.

We have completed revision on some grammar terms e.g. personification, psrenthesis, pronouns and more. It is important to know the grammar terms to improve our writing.

Congrats to Catherine who had worked really hard to listen to advice in P7. She is able to act upon instructions in order to develop into an even more accomplished pupil and classmate. She has been reaching out to her peers more and more to offer help to them and to showcase her knowledge and skills.

We’ve really enjoyed playing Four Square during our fitness block of PE! Not only does it get us moving and strategising but it’s good fun too!

We watched a 3d snowflake tutorial then carefully followed the instructions.  Our classroom looks more like a Christmas classroom now and it was really fun to do as the whole class.

We are under taking ARTiculate and we have started to share our knowledge with the class through our speeches. We are really impressed with how  our classmates could present so confidently and beautifully.

We have new Maths Coaches in P7a who are eager to help their peers use a range of strategies and approaches to tackling problems.

Well done to the fabulous Freya who continues to shine brightly in our classroom every single day! She gives 100% to every task and never appears to experience drops in energy or enthusiasm. It’s not easy to be so positive and curious all the time. You’re so impressive Freya and a vital leader in your key roles like the Reading Committee.

We have our cluster schools ceilidh at St. Luke’s next Thursday. We’ve been working on the dances taught to us by the St. Luke’s Sports Leaders. Take a look at the  video below.
